Terms of Service

These are the terms you use MixedGrip under — the apps, the website and the server behind them. Using it means agreeing to them.

Your account

Your account is yours, and it is one person's. You are responsible for what is logged and uploaded under it, and for keeping the Google account you sign in with secure. You must be 13 or older to use MixedGrip.

What you put in it

Your sets, videos, photos, templates and everything else you log stay yours. We store them and show them back to you, and we do not claim any ownership of them. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload, and do not upload anything unlawful.

Publishing a template

Publishing a template to the library is a deliberate act of sharing: it becomes visible to other people using MixedGrip, under your name, and they can use it in their own training. Publish only templates that are yours to publish. You can unpublish one at any time, though copies already taken by others stay with them.

Training is your own business

MixedGrip records training and estimates numbers from what you log — targets, estimated maxima, calories, macros. All of it is not medical advice, not coaching, and not a substitute for either. Lifting things is a physical activity with physical risk; how you train, what you eat and when you stop are your decisions, and speaking to a doctor about them is a good idea.

The service, as it stands

MixedGrip is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it keeps running, that it is free of faults, or that any feature stays as it is today. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose — settings has an export for exactly that. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it.

Closing an account

You can close your account whenever you like, by asking us to delete it. We can close or suspend an account that breaks these terms, or that is being used to harm someone else. If we do, we will say why.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes up on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Carrying on using MixedGrip after that means accepting them.
